Product Description

CURT's towing starter kit is a one-stop solution for your trailer hitch needs. It comes with everything you need to get on the road right away. This kit includes a class 2 ball mount #45519 and a CURT hitch pin and clip #21403. The ball mount has a 1-1/4' x 1-1/4' shank, fitting class 1 or 2 trailer hitches. Made in the USA, it's CNC-formed and robotically welded for a perfect fit and clean weld lines. It features a powder coat finish and comes with a pre-torqued, chrome-plated 2' trailer ball. With a 3/4' rise, it can handle a gross trailer weight of 3500 lbs and a tongue weight of 350 lbs. The hitch pin is 1/2' in diameter, made of solid steel with a zinc finish and a grooved end for easy clip attachment at any angle. It also has a 105-degree bend for easy handling. This kit is great for both new hitch owners and towing experts. Key features include a 3500 lbs gross trailer weight rating, a 350 lbs tongue weight rating, a factory-torqued trailer ball for 2' couplers, precise trailer leveling with a 3/4' rise, and a durable powder coat finish on the ball mount. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts).

Using this CURT towing starter kit is easy. First, make sure your trailer hitch has a 1-1/4' x 1-1/4' receiver tube opening. Insert the ball mount into the hitch and secure it with the provided hitch pin and clip. The 105-degree bend on the pin makes it easy to handle. Attach your trailer to the 2' trailer ball. When towing, always keep in mind the weight limits. The kit is rated for a gross trailer weight of 3500 lbs and a tongue weight of 350 lbs. If you remove the trailer ball, the weight capacity may change. For maintenance, regularly check the hitch pin and ball mount for any signs of wear or damage. Clean the ball mount with a mild soap and water and dry it thoroughly. The powder coat finish on the ball mount and the chrome-plated finish on the trailer ball will help protect them from rust and corrosion, but it's still a good idea to inspect them regularly. The kit comes with a limited lifetime warranty (one-year finish, one-year parts), so if you have any issues, you can contact the manufacturer.
