Using this circuit breaker is straightforward. First, make sure to mount it properly on the panel using the 3/8 - 27 UNS mounting option. Connect the wires to the #8 screw terminals, tightening them with a torque of 6 in - lb (0.68 Nm). The breaker is designed for a 20 - amp circuit and can handle a maximum voltage of 32V DC. When a fault current occurs, the breaker will trip automatically. To reset it, simply push the button. Remember, it has a 'Trip Free' design, so it can't be forced 'ON' during a fault. This breaker is ignition - protected, making it safe for use on gasoline - powered boats. In wet environments, you can use the optional push - button waterproof boot. As for maintenance, check the breaker periodically for any signs of damage or discoloration. Avoid operating it outside the temperature range of - 10°C to 60°C.
