With an improved clamping system and a compact size, these speakers can be installed almost anywhere. This upgraded NXL-X8 model features the PRO-HY8.4B Pro Audio Water Resistant Hybrid Mid-Range & Compression Driver Loudspeaker. It offers an expansive frequency range from 80Hz to 20KHz. The neodymium magnets in the compression driver provide unbreakable strength and durability. It has a larger voice coil than standard NXL pods, delivering louder sound, great sound reproduction, and longer lifespan. The power handling is 250W RMS and 500W MAX, double the standard rating. These speakers also come with integrated RGB LED lighting. The LED BTC (LED Bluetooth Controller) is sold separately for light control. Using your DS18 Hydro 8 Marine Tower Speakers is easy. First, decide where you want to install them. Thanks to their compact size and the improved clamping system, you can place them almost anywhere on your boat, ATV, UTV, Jeep, or other off - road vehicles. Just pair the NBR pad with a 1” to 2” tube to get the best fit for your tower. If you want to add some lighting to your setup, you'll need to buy the LED BTC (LED Bluetooth Controller) separately. Once you have it, you can control the RGB LED lighting on the speakers. When it comes to power, make sure your system can handle the 250W RMS and 500W MAX power ratings of these speakers. As for maintenance, use the two included CS8 silicone marine speaker covers to protect the speakers from the elements. You can also rotate the front logo and back covers to the correct angle for display. Keep the speakers clean and dry. If they get wet, dry them thoroughly.
