The NXL-X8PRO is a revamped compact wakeboard tower speaker from DS18. It can really crank up the volume of your sound system! Thanks to the new and improved clamping system and its compact size, you can install these speakers just about anywhere.

This upgraded NXL-X8 model comes with the PRO-HY8.4B, a Pro Audio Water Resistant Hybrid Mid-Range & Compression Driver Loudspeaker. It offers an expansive frequency range from 80Hz to 20KHz. The neodymium magnets in the compression driver make the motor/cone assembly super strong and durable.

Compared to standard NXL complete pods, the NXL-X8PRO has a larger voice coil. This means it can be louder, reproduce sound better, and last longer. It has a power handling rating of 250W RMS and 500W MAX, double that of the standard NXL pods.

These tower speakers also have built-in RGB LED lighting to enhance the vibe of any system. You'll need to buy the LED BTC (LED Bluetooth Controller) separately to control the lights.

Using these DS18 HYDRO 8 marine tower speakers is a breeze. First, find a suitable spot on your wakeboard tower, ATV, UTV, Jeep, or other off - road vehicle. The speakers come with an improved clamping system that can fit 1” to 2” roll cages or tubes. Just pair the NBR pad with the tube to get the best fit. When installing, make sure the front logo and back covers are at the right angle for display. You can rotate them as needed. For the RGB LED lights, you'll need to buy the LED BTC (LED Bluetooth Controller) separately. Once you have it, connect it and you can control the lighting to match the vibe of your system. When it comes to power, these speakers have a power handling rating of 250W RMS and 500W MAX. Make sure your audio system can supply power within this range. As for maintenance, keep the speakers clean. The included two CS8 silicone marine speaker covers are there to give extra protection. Regularly check the clamping system to ensure it's tight and the speakers are secure. If you're using them in a marine environment, rinse them with fresh water after each use to prevent saltwater damage.
