Using this circuit breaker is easy. First, find a suitable panel location on your boat or equipment. Make sure the power is off before you start mounting. Use the recessed mounting holes and #10 (M5) screws to securely attach it to the panel. Connect heavy gauge wire lugs to the terminal studs with the large clearances around them, and ensure high-torque connections with the robust 5/16 M8 terminals. The single lever makes it simple to operate. Just flip it to turn the circuit on or off. The lever's vertical/horizontal orientation will show you the trip status. Remember, don't use it as a switch when there are high inrush currents. Keep the breaker in an environment between -40°C and 85°C. It's waterproof, but try to avoid extreme wet conditions. For maintenance, check the terminal connections periodically for tightness. If the breaker trips, first identify and fix the fault, then manually reset it using the lever. This breaker is ignition protected, so it's safe for gasoline-powered boats.
