Blue Sea 3000 600A Battery Selector On-Off Switch

Model: 3000-BSS
This battery switch offers top-notch conductivity and corrosion resistance with its tin-plated copper studs. It can handle up to 4/0 AWG battery cables, and its 1/2' (M12) studs accept ring terminals. The 7/8' (22mm) stud length can hold multiple cable terminals. Blue Sea's one-piece terminal stud design stays tight over time. It fits most Perko and Guest low amperage battery switch hole patterns. You can mount it on the surface, rear, or front panel. There's a tactile indicator to feel the knob position. It's waterproof, rated IP66 against powerful water jets.

Using this Blue Sea battery switch is easy. First, make sure to connect the appropriate 4/0 AWG cables to the 1/2' (M12) studs. You can choose to mount it on the surface, rear, or front panel according to your needs. Just line up the mounting holes and use 1/4' (M6) screws. The tactile indicator on the knob helps you tell its position by touch. When using, be aware of the maximum voltage of 32V DC and the current ratings. For continuous use, don't exceed 600A. For intermittent use, it can handle 900A for 5 minutes, and 1750A for 30 seconds during cranking. As for maintenance, since it's waterproof (rated IP66), it can withstand powerful water jets. But still, check the terminal stud torque regularly to make sure it stays at 220 in-lb (24.86 Nm). This will help keep the switch working well over time.
