If you choose to use the iOS app, make sure you have at least one properly configured Nexus - enabled sensor device by FLIR. Once set up, you can use natural gestures on your iPad or iPhone to control the camera, like single - finger scrolling to browse cameras and single - touch button presses to switch signals. When using the joystick control unit, handle it gently as it comes with a weather cover and mounting hardware. If you are using a WiFi network with the Free FLIR app, ensure a stable connection. For maintenance, keep the imager in a dry place when not in use. The imager has automatic window defrost at power - up, which helps in normal operation in different environments.
