Product Description

The Chesapeake White SS 4' speedometer with a 60MPH (Pitot) rating features a perimeter - lighted white dial. It has eye - catching blue and white graphics, a polished stainless steel bezel, a contoured white pointer, and a domed glass lens. This electronic speedometer captures pulses from a sensor and converts them to a speed reading, similar to how a tachometer works. Pitot tube type speedometers use water pressure forced into the pitot tube, which is then transmitted to the movement inside the speedometer head to show the speed. Note that the pitot tube is sold separately. The 4' speedometer has a 3.375' (85mm) hole size. Key features include an anti - scratch glass lens, 12 VDC negative ground, adaptability for 24 VDC systems, and a dual scale for imperial and metric measurements. The factory P/N is SE9521. It's sold individually and the gauge cover is not included. This product has a strict no - return policy at the point of purchase; contact the manufacturer for any issues. Specifications: Gauge Type: Speedometer, Series: Chesapeake White, No Box Set, Voltage Input: 12/24 V, Gauge Size: 4', Box Dimensions: 5'H x 6'W x 6'L, Weight: 0.7 lbs, UPC: 759266338111.

Using your Faria Chesapeake White SS 4' speedometer is straightforward. If it's an electronic type, it'll automatically capture pulses from the sensor and show the speed. For the pitot tube type, make sure the pitot tube is properly installed (it's sold separately). The water pressure will then do the job of giving you a speed reading. When it comes to voltage, it runs on 12 VDC negative ground but can be adapted for 24 VDC systems. Remember, the gauge cover isn't included. Don't try to return it to the place you bought it; if there are any problems, reach out to the manufacturer. To keep it in good shape, avoid scratching the anti - scratch glass lens. Also, check the connections regularly, especially if you're using it in a marine environment where water and vibrations are common. Keep it dry and clean, and it'll serve you well for a long time.
