Product Description

The Euro White 4-inch speedometer with an 80MPH (Pitot) capacity is a great addition to your setup. It features a perimeter-lighted white dial with bold black graphics, a black aluminum bezel, a contoured white pointer, and a flat anti-scratch glass lens. The pitot tube type speedometer works by water pressure forced into the pitot tube (sold separately). This pressure is then transferred through flexible tubing to the movement inside the speedometer head, which converts it into a speed reading. It has plastic cases for corrosion resistance and long life, and can be adapted for 24 VDC systems. The 4-inch hole size is 3.375 inches (85mm). Factory P/N SE9474. Sold individually, gauge cover not included. This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Contact the manufacturer directly for any issues. Specifications: Gauge Type - Speedometer, Series - Euro White, Voltage - Input Range (Volts) - 12/24 V, Gauge Size - 4 inches, Box Set - No, Box Dimensions - 5'H x 6'W x 6'L, WT: 0.7 lbs, UPC: 759266329102. Quick Guide (pdf).

Using this speedometer is easy. First, install the pitot tube separately in the right place on your boat. Connect the flexible tubing from the pitot tube to the speedometer head. Make sure the connections are tight. Power it up using either a 12V or 24V power source as it can work with both. When you're out on the water, the water pressure will push into the pitot tube, and you'll see the speed reading on the dial. Remember, the pitot tube is sold separately, so don't forget to get one. Also, this product can't be returned to the place you bought it from. If you have any problems, contact the manufacturer. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. The plastic cases are corrosion-resistant, but try to avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals. Check the connections regularly to make sure they're secure. And since the gauge cover isn't included, you might want to consider getting one to protect the speedometer from dust and damage.
