Connect heavy gauge wire lugs to the large terminal studs with a 75 in - lb (8.47 Nm) torque. The single lever allows you to easily control the circuit. The lever's position, whether vertical or horizontal, shows the trip status. Remember, don't use it as a switch when high inrush currents are expected. Keep it in an environment where the temperature is between -40°C and 85°C. Since it's waterproof, it can handle some moisture, but avoid submerging it. Check the connections periodically for tightness and look for any signs of damage on the thermoset polyester case. If it trips, reset it manually, following the Type III class requirements. This breaker is ignition - protected, so it's safe to use on gasoline - powered boats.
