Using this Blue Sea battery switch is easy. First, decide on the mounting option - you can mount it on the surface, rear, or front panel according to your needs. Connect the wires to the tin - plated copper studs, which can accept 3/8' ring terminals. The 7/8' stud length allows for multiple cable terminals. Use the locking key to turn the switch on or off. When using it, make sure the voltage doesn't exceed 48V DC. The continuous rating is 300A, so don't overload it. For maintenance, check the connections regularly to ensure they are tight. The one - piece terminal stud design usually stays secure over time, but it's still good to double - check. Keep the switch dry as it's waterproof against powerful water jets, but excessive submersion may cause problems. Also, make sure the isolating cover is in place to protect the rear contacts.
