Product Description

The Furuno 165T-PM542LM is a high-power pocket mount combination transducer. It features a DFF3D operating frequency of 165 kHz. With a built-in motion sensor and temperature sensor, it offers enhanced functionality. It has low CHIRP from 30 kHz to 60 kHz with a beamwidth of 19° to 10° (10° to 5° fore-aft), and medium CHIRP from 80 kHz to 130 kHz with a beamwidth of 13° to 8°. All these components are housed in an Airmar PM542 urethane case. It comes with 12M cables - two for low and medium CHIRP with a 7-pin connector and a pigtail cable for the DFF3D. This transducer is suitable for FCV1900/FCV1900B (30 - 60 kHz and 80 - 130 kHz), DI - FFAMP, and DFF3D Multi - Beam Sonar (165 kHz) only.

Using this Furuno transducer is quite straightforward. First, make sure to connect the appropriate cables to your compatible devices like the FCV1900/FCV1900B, DI - FFAMP, or DFF3D Multi - Beam Sonar. The 7 - pin connector and pigtail cable are there for easy connection. When using it, keep in mind that the different CHIRP frequencies are designed for specific functions. The low CHIRP (30 - 60 kHz) and medium CHIRP (80 - 130 kHz) are great for different depth and target detection. For maintenance, regularly check the cables for any signs of damage. The urethane housing protects the internal components, but avoid hitting it against hard objects. Also, clean the transducer gently after each use to keep it in good condition.
