This Blue Sea 9228 analog meter shunt is for use with DC ammeters. To use it, simply connect it properly to your DC ammeter as per the device's wiring instructions. When using, remember that for continuous operation, you should run it at no more than two - thirds of the rated current under normal conditions. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry and clean place.
