Using this Blue Sea circuit breaker is easy. First, make sure to mount it on a flat surface using the provided #10 (M5) screws. Connect your wires to the 5/16' - 18 terminal studs, making sure to tighten them to the recommended 75 in-lb (8.47 Nm) torque. The large lever will show you if the breaker has tripped. When the breaker trips, don't try to force it back on during a fault current. Instead, find and fix the problem first. Keep in mind that this breaker isn't suitable for high inrush current situations. For maintenance, check the breaker periodically for any signs of damage or wear.
