Product Description

Blue Sea Systems m-Series Mini Dual Circuit Battery Switch in sleek black color. Model: 6010200-BSS. It features tin-plated copper studs for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The studs can accept 3/8' (M10) ring terminals and with a 7/8' (22mm) stud length, they can handle multiple cable terminals. The one-piece terminal stud design stays tight over time. An isolating cover with snap-on sections protects rear contacts. Its case design allows for surface or rear panel mounting. It's waterproof (rated IP66 against powerful water jets). One-piece stainless flange nuts ensure safe connections and breakout tabs allow wire access from any direction. This switch can simultaneously control two isolated battery banks. Specifications include a dual circuit switch type, 2 switch positions, no battery combine or alternator field disconnect, 32vDC maximum voltage, 3/8' stud size, 120 in-lb (13.56 Nm) terminal stud torque, 300A continuous rating, 450A (5 min) intermittent rating, 675A cranking rating for 30 sec, 2 battery inputs, 1.12in (28.45 mm) cable clearance for 4/0 AWG cables, 4/0 AWG (120mm ) cable size to meet ratings, mounting holes for #10 screws, tinned copper stud material, and 3/8' - 16 (M10) terminal stud size.

Using this Blue Sea battery switch is easy. First, make sure your batteries are disconnected. Connect the battery cables to the appropriate terminals, following the size and clearance specifications. You can mount it on a surface or a rear panel according to your needs. When using, simply switch it on or off to control the two isolated battery banks. As for maintenance, regularly check the terminal connections to ensure they are tight. Clean the switch with a dry cloth to keep it free from dust and debris. Avoid exposing it to excessive water other than what its IP66 rating allows. If you notice any signs of corrosion on the studs, you can gently clean them with a suitable metal cleaner. Always follow the torque specifications when tightening the studs to avoid damage.
