Using this battery switch is easy. First, decide on a mounting location - it can be on the surface, rear, or front panel. Make sure to use #10 screws for mounting. Connect the 4/0 AWG cables to the 3/8' tinned copper studs. Tighten the terminal studs to 120 in-lb (13.56 Nm). This switch is for a single battery and a single load group. Just turn the red knob to switch it on or off. When it comes to maintenance, check the connections regularly to make sure they're tight. The switch is waterproof, but still keep it away from long - term submersion. Since it's ignition - protected, it's safe for gasoline - powered boats, but always follow basic safety rules around fuel. If you notice any corrosion on the studs, clean them gently with a suitable cleaner.
