Product Description

The Echonautics BT70MA600-18 is a remarkable low-profile thru hull CHIRP transducer. It's designed to match your vessel's deadrise to a specific 18° angle, making it perfect for hull deadrise between 16° and 24°. This transducer minimizes drag, allowing it to perform exceptionally well at high speeds. It can measure both depth and temperature, with a frequency range of 80 - 130kHz CHIRP. Made of bronze, it has a 600-watt RMS power. The beamwidth is 24° to 17° @3db, and it can reach a maximum depth of 900ft. It comes with an NTC temperature sensor, a urethane acoustic window, a 27ft cable, and requires a 2.38-inch hole diameter for installation.

Using your Echonautics BT70MA600-18 transducer is easy. First, make sure to install it in a location on your vessel that has a hull deadrise between 16° and 24°. Drill a 2.38-inch hole for the installation. Connect the 27ft cable properly to your device. Once installed, turn on your device and start using it to measure depth and temperature. When using at high speeds, you'll notice the low drag design working well. As for maintenance, keep the transducer clean. After each use, rinse it with fresh water to remove any salt or debris. Check the cable regularly for any signs of damage. If you notice any issues with the temperature sensor or other functions, it's best to consult a professional. Also, store it in a dry place when not in use to prolong its lifespan.
