Using this First Watch FW-40PRO PFD is easy. Just put it on over your body armor, adjust the waist belt for a snug fit, and you're ready to go. When you're in the water and need it to inflate, it will do so automatically. Remember, this PFD is for automatic inflation only, so don't try to inflate it manually. As for maintenance, keep it dry when not in use. Check the CO2 bottle regularly to make sure it's properly stowed and in good condition. Also, inspect the zippered cover and other parts for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything wrong, get it repaired or replaced right away.
