This feature works with minor limitations regardless of vessel speed, enhancing safety and situational awareness. Once a target is selected, speed and course vectors show up in seconds. Doppler technology displays target vectors and sounds an alarm for approaching vessels. With RezBoost™ set to MAX, it achieves the sharpness of a much larger open - array antenna. Using the Furuno DRS25ANXT radar is quite straightforward. First, make sure it's properly installed with all the components in the box, like the pedestal and cable. Connect it to a 12 - 24 VDC power source. Once it's on, you can start detecting targets. When you see a target on the screen, if it turns red, it's approaching your vessel. Use the speed and course vectors to estimate the other vessel's movement. For better performance, you can set the RezBoost™ to MAX.
