Product Description

HALO24 Radar Dome: Doppler Tech for Superior Navigation

The HALO24 radar offers a near real-time view. With an industry-first 60 RPM operation at close range, it's the ultimate in collision avoidance. Use VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology to spot hazards instantly. Enjoy simultaneous short and long-range coverage up to 48 nautical miles from a compact 24-inch dome antenna.

All-in-One Compact Dome for Wide Vision

Suitable for sailboats, fishing boats, and smaller powerboats, the HALO24 comes in a compact dome. It provides high-quality short, mid, and long-range detection. In Dual Range mode, monitor two distance ranges at once. Keep an eye on far-off weather cells while watching for nearby collision hazards. Pulse-compression technology ensures no compromise in detection, and beam sharpening enhances target separation.

Top-Notch Collision Avoidance View

The HALO24 radar has an industry-first 60 RPM rotation up to 2 nautical miles, giving a full 360-degree sweep every second. These fast updates offer a near real-time close-range view, ideal for collision avoidance. Whether in crowded waterways or poor visibility, the Halo radar cuts through clutter for a clear view of your surroundings.

Built-in VelocityTrack™ Doppler Technology

VelocityTrack™ technology gives instant visual feedback on target movement. Using the Doppler effect, it automatically checks every target on the radar. No need to select targets manually, and there's no limit to on-screen targets. Simple color coding highlights potential hazards, improving situational awareness and reducing collision risk.

Using the HALO24 radar is easy. First, make sure it's properly installed on your boat and connected to the power source within the specified voltage range (9V - 31.2V DC). You can choose different operation modes like harbour, offshore, weather, or bird modes according to your needs. In Dual Range mode, you can keep an eye on both near and far areas at the same time. When it comes to collision avoidance, the VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology will automatically highlight potential hazards for you. As for maintenance, keep it in a dry place when not in use. Make sure to clean the dome regularly to keep the antenna working well. Check the cable for any signs of damage. Also, be aware of the environmental limits such as the operating temperature range from -25°C to +55°C. If you encounter any problems, refer to the detailed specifications or contact the manufacturer.
