Using this Dahle shredder is easy. First, make sure it's plugged in and the wastebin is in place. You can put in up to 55 - 60 sheets at a time, along with staples and paper clips. The shredder will automatically start when it senses the paper. If you accidentally put in too many sheets, it has an auto - reverse feature to prevent jams. When the wastebin is full, it will turn off automatically. For maintenance, empty the 50 - gallon wastebin regularly.
