Using this rack is a breeze. First, assemble the universal mount following the included instructions. It's easy to put together and take apart. Then, place your kayaks, canoes, SUPs, or surfboards on the 32 - inch wide support arms. Use the adjustable locking straps with the locking hook at one end to secure your items. The top rack is open, so it can accommodate items of any height. When it's time to store the rack, simply remove the bolt to detach the assembly. For maintenance, keep the rack clean and dry. The powder - coated grey Hammertone finish helps protect it from the elements, but if you notice any signs of wear, you can touch up the coating.
