Using these Ancor heat shrink ring terminals is easy. First, select the appropriate wire that matches the 12 - 10 gauge size. Slide the terminal onto the stripped end of the wire. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the terminal. Make sure to heat it evenly until it shrinks to 1/3 of its original size at 257°F/125°C. This will create a watertight seal and relieve strain. When handling, be aware of the warning. This product contains chemicals that can be harmful. For more info, check P65Warnings.ca.gov. To maintain these terminals, keep them in a dry place away from direct sunlight, oil, and chemicals. Since they're tinned for corrosion resistance, they'll last a long time if stored properly. Also, the pure copper and brazed seam ensure maximum current flow and strength, so you can trust them for your electrical connections.
