This heat shrink ring terminal offers top - notch performance. The cross - linked polyolefin tubing is stronger than PVC and won't burn. The heat - activated adhesive lining seals out salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight while providing strain relief. It has a nylon insulator, favored by experts, with Marine Grade™ resistance to various elements. It's UL Listed and CSA Recognized. With the highest shrink ratio, it shrinks to 1/3 of its original size at 257°F/125°C. The operating temperature ranges from 40°C to 110°C. ANCOR connectors have built - in heat - activated adhesive. It forms a watertight seal, resists vibration and strain. It's tinned for corrosion resistance, made of pure copper for maximum current flow, and has a brazed seam for strength.
