Using these Ancor heat shrink ring terminals is easy. First, make sure your wire is the right 12 - 10 gauge size and strip it to the appropriate length. Insert the wire into the terminal. Then, use a heat gun to apply heat evenly to the terminal. The terminal will start to shrink and the adhesive will melt, creating a seal. Make sure to heat it until it's fully shrunk to 1/3 of its original size. When handling these terminals, be aware of the warning about the chemicals they contain. Avoid direct contact with the chemicals and always work in a well - ventilated area. To maintain these terminals, keep them dry and away from extreme heat or cold. Store them in a cool, dry place.
