Product Description

Upgrade your electrical connections with our Ancor 12-10 Gauge 3/8 Heat Shrink Ring Terminals, available in a pack of 25. These terminals are a game-changer! The cross-linked polyolefin tubing is far stronger than PVC and won't burn. The heat-activated adhesive lining seals out salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight, while also relieving strain. With a nylon insulator, they offer top-notch Marine Grade™ resistance to sunlight, water, oil, chemicals, vibration, and cut-through damage. UL Listed and CSA Recognized, they have the highest shrink ratio, shrinking to 1/3 of their original size at 257°F/125°C. They operate from 40°C to 110°C. The built-in heat-activated adhesive in the sleeve forms a watertight seal, provides ultimate vibration and strain relief. Tinned for corrosion resistance, made of pure copper for maximum current flow, and with a brazed seam for maximum strength. Note: This product can expose you to chemicals like di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (dehp) which may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Check P65Warnings.ca.gov for more info. Specifications: 12-10 AWG gauge, 25 per pack, heat shrink feature, ring terminal type, 3/8' post size, box dimensions 1'H x 4'W x 4'L, 0.2 lbs weight, UPC 091887316223. Quick Guide (pdf).

Using these Ancor heat shrink ring terminals is easy. First, make sure your wire is the right 12 - 10 gauge size and strip it to the appropriate length. Insert the wire into the terminal. Then, use a heat gun to apply heat evenly to the terminal. The terminal will start to shrink and the adhesive will melt, creating a seal. Make sure to heat it until it's fully shrunk to 1/3 of its original size. When handling these terminals, be aware of the warning about the chemicals they contain. Avoid direct contact with the chemicals and always work in a well - ventilated area. To maintain these terminals, keep them dry and away from extreme heat or cold. Store them in a cool, dry place. If you notice any signs of damage like cracks or the adhesive not sealing properly, replace the terminal.
