Product Description

The V60 - B VHF Marine Radio is a game - changer for marine enthusiasts. With its integrated Class B AIS transceiver, you can both receive AIS targets and transmit your yacht's position to nearby AIS - equipped vessels. This ensures you're visible day or night, helping other mariners spot your boat easily and avoid collisions in busy harbors and waterways. You can view AIS info on the built - in screen or overlay it on your chart or radar via a compatible chartplotter. The removable fist mic offers great flexibility. You can connect it to the front or rear of the radio, and optional extension cables let you mount the mic and radio separately, keeping your setup cable - clutter - free. Expand your radio's functionality by adding an optional H60 wireless handset. Each handset duplicates the radio's display and controls, allowing you to access key functions remotely. You can connect up to two handsets, and when multiple are connected, your radio doubles as an on - board intercom. The Man Overboard (MOB) function is a lifesaver. Press and hold the NAV/MOB button to drop a waypoint at your current location. The radio enters MOB mode, showing the distance and direction back to the MOB event. The MOB waypoint is also sent over NMEA 2000 to your network. The Track Buddy feature lets you track up to 5 other VHF radios. Just enter their MMSI into your contact list, and you can see their positions on any compatible chartplotter. Other great features include a Class D DSC - approved VHF radio, an integrated GPS receiver, NMEA0183® and NMEA 2000® connectivity, and the ability to add an optional loudhailer or external speaker. In the box, you'll find the V60 VHF Radio, a fist mic, mounting bracket, flush mounting kit, suncover, and mic clip.

Using the V60 - B VHF Marine Radio is straightforward. First, mount the radio using the provided mounting bracket and flush mounting kit. Connect the fist mic to either the front or rear of the radio. If you want more flexibility, use the optional extension cables. To use the AIS function, make sure your radio is powered on. It will automatically start receiving AIS targets and transmitting your yacht's position. You can view the AIS information on the built - in screen or connect it to a compatible chartplotter. When adding a wireless handset, follow the pairing instructions in the manual. You can connect up to two handsets for convenient remote control. In case of a man - overboard situation, quickly press and hold the NAV/MOB button. The radio will mark the location and enter MOB mode. Remember, the MOB waypoint will be sent to your network via NMEA 2000. To track other vessels with the Track Buddy feature, enter their MMSI into the contact list in your radio. For maintenance, keep the radio dry. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth regularly. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for long periods. If you're not using the radio for a while, turn it off and store it in a safe place. When cleaning the screen, use a non - abrasive cleaner to prevent scratches.
