The V60-B VHF Marine Radio is a game-changer for marine communication. It comes with DSC, AIS (Receive & Transmit), and a GPS-500 GPS Antenna. With its integrated Class B AIS transceiver, you can both see and be seen by other AIS-equipped vessels. It receives AIS targets and broadcasts your yacht's position, helping you avoid collisions day or night. The built-in AIS receiver monitors other vessels' positions, and you can view AIS info on the radio screen or overlay it on your chartplotter. The removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio. Optional extension cables let you mount the mic and radio separately, keeping things clutter-free. You can expand the radio with optional H60 wireless handsets. Each handset duplicates the radio's display and controls, and up to two handsets can be connected. It also has a Man Overboard (MOB) function. Press the NAV/MOB button to drop a waypoint and enter MOB mode. The MOB waypoint is transmitted over NMEA 2000. The Track Buddy feature lets you track up to 5 vessels by entering their MMSI in your contact list. Key features include a Class D DSC-approved VHF radio, integrated GPS receiver, NMEA 0183® and NMEA 2000® connectivity, and more. In the box, you'll find the V60 VHF Radio, fist mic, mounting bracket, flush mounting kit, suncover, mic clip, and GPS-500 GPS Antenna.

Using the V60-B VHF Marine Radio is easy. First, install it using the provided mounting bracket and flush mounting kit. Connect the GPS-500 GPS Antenna to get accurate location data. The removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio. If you want to mount them separately, use the optional extension cables. To use the AIS function, just turn it on and start receiving and transmitting information. The AIS data can be viewed on the radio's screen or on your compatible chartplotter. If you add the H60 wireless handsets, pair them with the radio following the instructions. Each handset can control all key functions. In case of a man overboard situation, quickly press and hold the NAV/MOB button. The radio will drop a waypoint and enter MOB mode, showing you the distance and direction to the MOB location. To track other vessels with the Track Buddy feature, add their MMSI to your contact list. As for maintenance, keep the radio clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and moisture. Check the cables regularly for any signs of damage. If you have any issues, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
