Using the Ancor 18/2 100' Safety Duplex Cable is easy. First, check the color - coded inner conductors to connect them correctly according to your needs. Make sure to follow the ABYC standards for a proper installation. When handling, be careful with the outer jacket as it's made for easy removal but still offers good abrasion resistance. In terms of maintenance, keep it away from extreme heat and direct sunlight for long periods. Also, avoid contact with sharp objects that could damage the cable. Since it's resistant to salt water, battery acid, oil, and gasoline, it can be used in marine environments without much worry. However, be aware of the warning about the chemicals it may expose you to. If you have any concerns, refer to P65Warnings.ca.gov for more information.
