Using the ComNav 201 Remote is easy. First, make sure it's properly connected to your autopilot system with the 40 - foot cable. You can switch between the Standby, Tiller, and Pilot modes according to your needs. When in Standby mode, the remote is on hold. In Tiller mode, you have manual control, and in Pilot mode, the autopilot takes over. Keep the remote dry and clean. Avoid dropping it or exposing it to extreme temperatures. If it gets dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it. Don't use harsh chemicals. Periodically check the cable for any signs of wear and tear.
