Quick Guide (pdf)

Using the PowerBar 1000 is straightforward. First, find a suitable location for it in your wiring system. You can use the #10 (M5) screws to mount it. Connect the conductors to the terminal studs, making sure to use the one - piece serrated flange nuts for a secure connection. For smaller gauge wires, use the stainless steel 8 - 32 screws with captive lock washers. If you're working in a tight space, you can cut the busbar to a shorter length. When adding multiple fuse blocks, you'll find that the busbar and fuse block elevations match common fuse blocks, so you won't need extra connecting cables. Just snap on the insulating cover, which also meets important safety requirements. Remember, this product can expose you to certain chemicals, so take necessary precautions. Keep it clean and dry to maintain its performance. If you need to gang additional busbars, use the bi - directional end caps.
