The Faria Chesapeake Black 4-inch tachometer with Systemcheck indicator is designed for Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines. It features a perimeter-lighted black dial with stylish blue and white graphics, a polished stainless steel bezel, a contoured white pointer, and a domed anti-scratch glass lens. This tachometer counts pulses from the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. You just need to connect it to +12VDC, ground, and one of the signal sources. By setting the back switch correctly, it can detect how many pulses are sent per engine revolution. The built - in warning light system in the dial shows indicators for faults like no oil, engine overheat, check engine, and low oil.
