Simply connect the tach to +12VDC, Ground, and one of the listed signal sources. You can set the switch on the back to let the tachometer know the number of pulses per engine revolution.
The 4 - inch tach has a hole size of 3.375 inches (85mm). It operates on 12 VDC negative ground and can be adapted for 24 VDC systems.
