Product Description

The Faria Kronos 2 Depth Sounder comes with an In-Hull Transducer, featuring a polished stainless steel bezel and a flat glass anti-fog, scratch-resistant lens. Its perimeter-lighted spun aluminum dial with gold and black graphics looks great. This depth sounder offers a 3 - 199 foot (1 - 61 meters) depth capability. It has an automatic gain control, backlighting for excellent night vision, keel offset, and both deep and shallow water alarms. You can read the depth in either meters or feet on its oversized back-lit display, making it easy to see in any condition. The audible and visual alarms alert boaters when there's a shallow or deep water situation. It includes a Faria SN2010 In-Hull Transducer with a 20' cable. The 2' hole size is 2.0625' (53mm). Other specifications include imperial and metric values, programmable keel offset, and a 12/24 V input voltage range. It's sold individually, and the gauge cover is not included. This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase, so contact the manufacturer directly for any issues. Factory P/N DS0131. UPC: 759266191518. Quick Guide (pdf), Owner's Manual (pdf).

Using the Faria Kronos 2 Depth Sounder is a breeze. First, install the included In-Hull Transducer with the 20' cable in the right place on your boat. Make sure it's properly connected to the depth sounder. Once it's set up, you can power it on using either 12V or 24V. You can choose to display the depth in meters or feet according to your preference. The automatic gain control will adjust the readings for you, and the backlighting will help you see clearly at night. For the keel offset, you can program it to get accurate depth readings. When the water gets too shallow or too deep, the audible and visual alarms will go off to let you know. As for maintenance, keep the flat glass lens clean. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth to prevent scratches. If you have any problems, don't return it to the store but contact the manufacturer directly.
