The Chesapeake White SS 2" Fuel Level Gauge in metric (E-1/2-F) features a perimeter - lighted white dial with trendy blue and white graphics. It has a polished stainless - steel bezel, a contoured white pointer, and a domed glass lens. This fuel level gauge works by sending a low - amperage current through its meter to the ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. As pressure and temperature change, the resistance of the sending unit varies, altering the current flow and making the meter deflect to show the fuel level. With a 2" hole size (53mm), it comes with a metric anti - scratch glass lens, plastic cases for corrosion resistance and long life.
