Product Description

The Faria Euro Black 4' Tachometer, designed for all gas outboard engines with a 7,000 RPM capacity, is a top - notch instrument. It features a perimeter - lighted black dial with bold white graphics, a black aluminum bezel, a contoured white pointer, and a flat anti - scratch glass lens. Electronic tachometers operate by counting pulses from ignition systems, alternators, tach signal generators, or magnetic pickup senders. Connect it to +12VDC, ground, and one of the listed signal sources. Select the right tach and set the back switch correctly to inform the tachometer about the pulses per engine revolution. With a 4' size and a 3.375' (85mm) hole size, it's a great fit. The plastic case offers corrosion resistance and long life, and it can be adapted for 24 VDC systems. Factory P/N TC9011. Sold individually, gauge cover not included. This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase; contact the manufacturer directly for issues. Gauge Type: Tachometer; Series: Euro Black; Voltage - Input Range (Volts): 12/24 V; Gauge Size: 4'; Not a box set; Box Dimensions: 5'H x 6'W x 6'L, WT: 0.7 lbs; UPC: 759266328051. Quick Guide (pdf).

Using your Faria Euro Black 4' Tachometer is easy. First, connect it to +12VDC, ground, and one of the signal sources like the ignition system or alternator. Then, select the right tach and set the switch on the back to the correct position so it knows how many pulses are sent per engine revolution. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean. Since it has a plastic case, it's corrosion - resistant, but avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals. If you notice any issues, don't return it to the place of purchase. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly. Also, remember that the gauge cover is not included. This tachometer can be used in both 12V and 24V systems, so make sure you've set it up correctly for your engine's voltage.
