Product Description

Blue Sea Systems presents the Model 7615-BSS, a top - notch 12V DC timer and low - voltage disconnect device. When a 12V signal is applied, it connects the battery power to your devices. Once the signal is removed, the timer kicks in and disconnects the devices after a pre - set time, which can range from 15 minutes to 4 hours. The low - voltage disconnect feature also senses low battery voltage and automatically cuts off the devices to save battery power. You can even use the low - voltage setting with the timer disconnect. Specifications include a nominal voltage of 12V DC, an amperage operating current of 175mA (closed) and 4mA (open), and much more.

Using this Blue Sea device is easy. First, make sure the input voltage is within the 9.5 - 16V range. Connect your devices and send a 12V signal to start the connection with the battery. To set the timer, choose from options like 5 sec, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hr, 1.5 hr, 2hr, or 4hr. When the signal is removed, the timer will start counting down. For the low - voltage disconnect, you can select settings of 11.0V, 11.5V, or 12.0V. When the battery voltage drops to the set level, the device will automatically disconnect. As for maintenance, keep the device clean and dry. Check the terminal stud torque regularly to ensure it's at 140 in - lb (15.82 Nm). Also, make sure the cable size meets the ratings, which is 1 AWG (50mm). Be careful not to exceed the over - voltage lockout of 16.0V, as it can damage the device.
