Product Description
The Furuno DFF3-UHD is a high-power black box fish finder. It's designed for NavNet TZouch3 and NavNet TZtouch2 TZT2BB, and comes with a 5M LAN cable but no transducer. With 2 kW or 3 kW power output, it transmits across low, medium, and high CHIRP frequency ranges. High power means better resolution and depth capability. It's compatible with NavNet TZtouch3 and TZT2BB MFDs. It gathers more and higher-quality data than tone pulse fish finders. You can find and catch more target fish, even when they're in tight schools or near the seafloor. It has an A-Scope feature and programmable alarms. There are also enhanced automatic modes for your boating style. This fish finder can show fish and bottom structure deeper and clearer. Furuno's digital signal processing interprets echoes with great clarity, accuracy, and resolution, down to 15,000 feet. Specifications include dual band CHIRP and CW TX type, max 3 kW CHIRP output power, 15,000 ft max range scale, 25 to 242 kHz frequency, and more. The box includes the DFF3-UHD fish finder, cables, screws, an EMI core, and an installation manual.
Using the Furuno DFF3 - UHD fish finder is easy. First, connect it to your MFD network via Ethernet as described in the installation manual. Make sure your NavNet TZtouch3 has v3+ software or NavNet TZT2BB has v9+ software. Power it up with a 12 - 24 VDC power supply. When you're out on the water, turn it on and select the appropriate automatic cruising or fishing mode to suit your style. You can also set the A - Scope feature and programmable alarms according to your needs. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Since it has an IP55 protection level, it can withstand some dust and water, but avoid submerging it. Check the cables regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you encounter any problems, refer back to the installation manual or contact Furuno's customer support.
