Using the Furuno DRS2DNXT radar is straightforward. First, install it following the instructions in the installation manual. Make sure to mount it securely using the mounting template and the included bolts and washers. You'll need to connect it to a compatible display like NavNet TZtouch, TZtouch2, or TZtouch3. Remember, the cable needs to be ordered separately and connected properly. When you power it on, it'll start scanning the area around your vessel. The Target Analyzer™ will show you which targets are approaching or moving away. Just look at the color of the targets - red means they're coming towards you, and green means they're stationary or moving away. To get more information about a specific target, select it on the display. In seconds, you'll see the speed and course vector. Here are some important notes. Always use the correct fuses as provided in the box. The power supply should be between 12 - 24 VDC. Don't expose the radar to extreme weather conditions without proper protection.
