Product Description

Airmar TM265C Low/High CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer with Mix-N-Match Plug (Model: TM265C-LH-MM) is a great choice for fishing. It has 8 internal broadband ceramics, a depth and fast - response water temperature sensor. With a urethane housing and stainless - steel mounting bracket, it can be retrofitted to existing TM258 & TM260 brackets. It uses the exclusive Xducer ID® technology. Traditional fish finders operate at fixed frequencies and use short - duration pulses. In contrast, this transducer uses CHIRP technology with a long - duration transmit pulse that sweeps across many frequencies. This means it sends 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water. Specifically designed for small boats (25' - 40'), the TM265LH Chirps across low frequencies of 42 - 65 kHz and high frequencies of 130 - 210 kHz. Specifications include a 42 - 65 kHz low frequency with a 25° to 16° beamwidth, a 130 - 210 kHz high frequency with a 10° to 6° beamwidth. It suits boats 8 m to 12 m (25’ to 40’), outboards and I/O boats, and hulls made of fiberglass, wood, or metal with a deadrise of up to 28°. The acoustic window is made of urethane. The box includes the TM265CLH - MM and transom mount hardware.

Using the Airmar TM265C - LH Transducer is easy. First, mount it on your boat's transom using the provided transom mount hardware. Make sure it's properly installed and secure. Connect it to your fish - finding device according to the instructions. When using it, you can start detecting the depth and water temperature. It's great for small boats from 25' to 40'. For maintenance, keep the urethane housing clean. Avoid hitting it against hard objects to prevent damage. If you notice any issues with the performance, check the connections first. And remember, it's designed for specific boat types and hulls, so make sure it matches your boat.
