Using this Blue Sea circuit breaker is easy. First, make sure to mount it properly on a panel using the 3/8 - 27 UNS mounting method. Connect the 1/4 male quick connect terminals to your circuit. When the circuit experiences an overload, the breaker will trip. To reset it, simply push the button. Note that it has a 'Trip Free' design, so it won't stay 'ON' during a fault. This breaker is ignition protected, which makes it safe for use on gasoline - powered boats. However, always check local regulations. For wet environments, you can use the optional push button waterproof boot. Keep the breaker within its operating temperature range of -10°C to 60°C. If you notice any discoloration or cracking on the boot or breaker, it might be time to replace it. Regularly inspect the connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
