Product Description

The Blue Sea EV Battery Charger Display, model 7517 - BSS, is a great upgrade. It can replace traditional rectangular displays easily. It automatically detects 1 - 3 battery banks. You'll know the AC charge status, as it shows if power is connected and the charger is working. It also tells you in plain language if there's a fault with the battery charger. With a dip - switch, you can choose the screen to show voltage bar graphs or the P12 Battery Charger summary screen. It can display voltage bar graphs even without AC power. There's an optional standby mode that turns off the screen after 4 hours of inactivity, and it turns on automatically based on motion with an integrated knock sensor. The bright, daylight - readable yellow OLED display measures 55mm x 28mm. It has an accuracy of +/- 1% at 36 Volts DC, 3 battery inputs with a common reference, an input voltage range of 6 - 36V DC, a maximum current draw of 50mA, and less than 1mA in standby mode. The package includes an EV Battery Charger Display, a mounting gasket, a four - position connector, and a 25ft (7.8m) Cat5e cable. It offers two ways to monitor your battery banks, either showing a graphical voltage representation for 1 to 3 battery banks or the charger's summary screen when connected to a P12 Battery Charger.

Using your Blue Sea EV Battery Charger Display is easy. First, connect it properly according to the included instructions. You can choose the screen configuration using the dip switch, whether you want to see voltage bar graphs or the P12 Battery Charger summary screen. The display will automatically detect 1 - 3 battery banks. To save power, you can use the optional standby mode, which will turn off the screen after 4 hours of inactivity. It will turn on again when it senses motion. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures. Check the connections regularly to make sure they are secure. If you see any fault indications on the display, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual. Also, make sure the input voltage is within the 6 - 36V DC range to avoid any damage to the device.
