Using your DS18 Hydro 10 2 - Way Carbon Fiber Speakers is a breeze. First, decide on the surface where you want to mount them. Make sure it's a flat and stable area on your boat. Use the provided M4 Phillips inner Hex Head 304 Stainless Steel screws and the 4mm Hex Tool to secure the speakers in place. The cutout size you need is 8.75 inches, so plan your installation accordingly. Connect the 1.5M #18 speaker input wires to your audio source using the fast terminals. Then, connect the 1.5M #22 RGB power input wires. If you've bought the separately - sold LED BTC, you can use it to set the color of the RGB lights to your liking. When it comes to maintenance, since these speakers have an IP65 waterproof rating, they can handle water splashes. But after use, it's a good idea to wipe them down with a dry cloth to remove any saltwater or debris. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the carbon fiber laminate or the metal mesh grill. Be careful not to exceed the max power handling of 600 watts. If you do, it could damage the speakers. Also, store the speakers in a dry place when not in use to extend their lifespan.
