The Blue Sea 8289 is a sleek black water - resistant Contura III switch. It's a double - pole, double - throw switch with an (ON) - OFF - ON action and one embedded LED. This switch is built tough, resistant to vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture, and salt spray. It's specially made for mounting in Blue Sea Systems' water - resistant panels and is ignition protected, safe for gasoline - powered boats, meeting UL1500 and ISO8846 requirements. With a 12 - volt DC rating of 20 amperes and 24 - volt DC rating of 15 amperes, it offers reliable performance. The LED has a 100,000 - hour half - life, and it comes with internal and external gasket panel seals. It can operate in temperatures from - 40°C to 85°C. The mounting hole size is 1.45' x 0.83', and the LED amperage is 18 milliamperes. The switch is black, with DPDT throw/pole and (On)/Off/On action. Box dimensions are 1'H x 1'W x 3'L and it weighs 0.1 lbs, with UPC 632085082895.
