Quick Guide (pdf)
Using these Ancor heat shrink ring terminals is easy. First, select the right wire within the 12 - 10 gauge range. Slide the terminal onto the wire, making sure it fits well. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the terminal at around 257°F (125°C). As it heats up, it'll shrink to 1/3 of its original size and form a watertight seal. When handling, always be aware of the warning about chemicals. Avoid exposing the product to extremely high or low temperatures outside the 40°C to 110°C operating range. To maintain these terminals, keep them dry and away from harsh chemicals. Store them in a cool, dry place to prevent corrosion.
