Product Description

Echonautics offers a great line of powerful transducers, including those from Dual Frequency CW to Low/Medium/High CHIRP and digital sensors, all at a great value. This bronze low - profile thru - hull medium - frequency CHIRP transducer packs a 600W punch with an 18° tilt and operates in the 80 - 130kHz frequency range. It has a 26 - foot cable, medium chirp, standard imaging, and comes with 8 pins. It doesn't include speed measurement but has temperature sensing. The box dimensions are 5'H x 8'W x 8'L and it weighs 3.4 lbs, with a UPC of 010407340210. You can also get a brochure (pdf).

Using this Echonautics transducer is straightforward. First, find a suitable location on your boat for the thru - hull mounting. Make sure the area is clean and dry before installation. When connecting the cables, follow the pin diagram carefully. You'll notice that the transducer can provide clear imaging in the medium - frequency range, which is great for getting a good view underwater. As for the temperature sensing, it will give you valuable data about the water conditions. Remember, avoid hitting the transducer against hard objects as it's made of bronze and could get damaged. To maintain it, regularly clean the surface with a soft cloth and freshwater after each use. If you're storing it for a long time, keep it in a cool, dry place.
