This multi - purpose temperature probe is great for measuring the temperature of air, soil, or water. It offers flexibility in setup. You can add up to four probes to a single Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station. Or, connect it to Vantage Connect and replace its internal temperature sensor. It's an excellent choice for measuring water or soil temperature without setting up another station.

The probe features a 2 - 1/2' (64mm) long stainless steel housing and comes with a 15' (4.6M) direct - burial cable. It's compatible with Wireless Temperature Station (6372), Weather Envoy (6316), Envoy8X (6318), and Anemometer/Sensor Transmitter Kit (6332).

Using this temperature probe is easy. First, decide where you want to measure the temperature - it could be air, soil, or water. If you're using it with a Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station, you can add up to four probes. For Vantage Connect, just connect it to replace the internal sensor. When installing, make sure the 15 - foot direct - burial cable is properly placed. Remember not to bend or damage the 2 - 1/2 - foot stainless - steel housing. For maintenance, keep the probe clean and dry. If it gets dirty, gently wipe it with a soft cloth. Check the cable regularly for any signs of wear.
