Using this adhesive lined heat shrink tubing is easy. First, make sure your wire is clean and dry. Slide the tubing over the wire. Use a heat source, like a heat gun, to heat the tubing evenly. Keep the heat source moving to avoid overheating. The tubing will start to shrink at 257°F / 125°C and shrink to 1/3 of its original size. As it shrinks, the adhesive lining will activate and create a tight seal. When you're done, let the tubing cool down completely. Remember, this product can expose you to harmful chemicals, so handle it with care. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you notice any damage to the tubing, don't use it.
