Using the Cannon Lake-Troll Manual Downrigger is easy. First, mount it on your boat using the quick-mount tab-lock base. Then, attach your fishing rod to the tube-style rod holder. The vertical spool with the clutch/brake system allows you to lower the weight safely with one hand. You can use the swivel-head depth counter to keep track of how deep your line is. The pre-spooled 100 - foot stainless - steel cable is ready for you to start fishing right away. Remember, this product is saltwater - resistant, but it's still a good idea to rinse it with fresh water after each use to keep it in top condition.
