Product Description

The Faria Kronos 2 Water Temperature Gauge (100 - 250°F) is a top - notch instrument. It features a polished stainless - steel bezel and a flat glass lens that resists scratches. The perimeter - lighted spun aluminum dial with gold and black graphics looks great, and the gold increments and logo on the dial are embossed for a high - end feel. All instruments come with a two - piece Newport pointer having a white hub. This temperature gauge works by sending a low - amperage current through the gauge's meter to the ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. As the resistance of the sending unit changes with pressure, temperature, etc., the current flow changes, and the meter shows the temperature. With a 2' hole size (2.0625' or 53mm), it's easy to install. Key features include an LED illumination around the dial perimeter, a Newport - style white pointer, and a dual - scale for both imperial and metric measurements. Factory P/N is GP7682. It's sold individually, and the gauge cover is not included. Note that this product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Contact the manufacturer directly for any issues. Gauge Type: Water Temperature; Series: Kronos; Voltage - Input Range: 12/24 V; Gauge Size: 2'; Not a box set; Box Dimensions: 4'H x 4'W x 5'L, WT: 0.3 lbs; UPC: 759266190030.

Using this Faria Kronos 2 Water Temperature Gauge is quite simple. First, install it in a spot where it can be easily seen. The 2' hole size makes it fit well in standard installations. When the engine is running, the gauge will start showing the water temperature. Just look at the Newport - style white pointer on the dial to read the temperature in either imperial or metric units. As for maintenance, keep the flat scratch - resistant lens clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it gently. If you notice any issues with the gauge's reading, don't return it to the place you bought it from. Instead, contact the manufacturer directly. Also, make sure the voltage input is within the 12/24 V range to keep the gauge working properly. And remember, it's sold individually, and the gauge cover is not included.
