Product Description

Furuno presents the FCV800 8.4' TruEcho CHIRP™ or CW Fish Finder, a top - notch device for fishermen. It comes with TruEcho CHIRP™ that uses a broadband transducer across a wide frequency range, offering better signal clarity and target definition. The RezBoost™ Signal Processing improves clarity and resolution for conventional CW transducers. The ACCU - FISH™ function assesses fish size and depth uniquely. It can discriminate the bottom composition, showing 4 types of graphic displays like Rock, Sand, Gravel, and Mud. New features include Bottom Hardness Output for external plotters, Color Expansion to distinguish fish from the seabed, and a White Line Feature to find bottom - lying fish. The configurable alarm function covers depth, fish echo, speed, arrival, etc. The TLL (Target Lat/Lon) Output lets you mark fishing grounds when paired with a Furuno Chart Plotter. It has a fast 3,000 PRR transmission rate, new sunlight and yellow color palettes, and wireless connectivity for easy installation. Furuno's stand - alone fish finders combine new and award - winning features. The 5.7' FCV600 can use either a CHIRP or dual - frequency CW transducer. TruEcho CHIRP™ provides greater detail for baitfish, game fish, and structure. Color Range Expansion makes it easy to tell bottom fish from the seabed. Specifications include a 5.7 - inch color LCD display, frequencies from CW 50 - 200kHz or CHIRP 40kHz to 225kHz, 600 W power output, 12 - 24 VDC power usage, and a 1200 m range. The box includes the FCV800 Display, cover, bracket, mounting knobs, power/data cable, self - tapping screws, LCD cleaning cloth, 3A glass fuse, and an installation manual.

Using the Furuno FCV800 fish finder is easy. First, install it according to the instructions in the installation manual that comes in the box. Connect the power/data cable and mount the display securely using the bracket and mounting knobs. You can configure the alarm function to suit your needs, like setting an alarm for when you reach a certain depth or detect a fish echo. To get the best out of the TruEcho CHIRP™ feature, make sure the transducer is properly installed and adjusted. When using the color expansion and white line features, they'll help you quickly identify fish and bottom structure. For maintenance, use the LCD cleaning cloth to keep the display clean. Check the power cable regularly for any signs of damage. Replace the 3A glass fuse if it blows. Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or moisture. If you're using the TLL Output, ensure your Furuno Chart Plotter is compatible and properly connected. With these tips, you'll have a great fishing experience with your Furuno FCV800.
